This module contains two formal assessment tasks that count towards your HSC results.
Assessment Task 1:
The first formal assessment for this module is an in-class extended response task. The task consists of two parts. That is, you must answer two of the four questions provided. The task requires you to analyse two sources as well as draw on your own knowledge of the aspects of World War I covered in class so far. It is worth 10% of your overall marks (5% for each response). The task will be held in class on the Friday of Week 7. You will have 5 minutes reading time and 45 minutes to respond. It is recommended that you spend 20 minutes writing each of your responses and then spend the last five minutes checking over your work. Good luck!
Assessment Task 2:
This is a group activity based on a real life scenario. It is worth 15% of your overall marks. It will be held in class on the Wednesday of Week 10. However, all preparation for the task will be done in your own time.
